POLICE HANDLED THE FOLLOWING CALLS FOR SERVICE:
November 1st
ARREST: Police made arrest on North Bennington Road for Public Intoxication.
ASSIST: Police did a standby while a landlord served eviction papers at a Dodge Hill Road residence.
HARASSMENT: Police received a harassment call from an unwanted visitor at a Francestown Road residence.
THEFT: Police took a report of theft of political signs.
November 2nd
CIVIL STANDBY: Police did a civil standby at a Francestown Road residence.
MOTOR VEHICLE: Police had a vehicle towed which was disabled/abandoned on North Bennington Road.
November 3 rd
ANIMAL: Police received a report of a loose horse on Bible Hill Road.
ARREST: Police made an arrest on a bench warrant for Failure to Appear in Court.
THEFT: Police took two reports of theft involving political signs.
November 4th
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Police took a report of damage done to a mailbox on Onset Road.
THEFT: Police began investigating a report of theft involving theft by deception involving a check being cashed but work not being done.
CIVIL: Police mediated a dispute involving an eviction process between landlord/tenant.
HARASSMENT: Police took a report of harassment involving unwanted telephone calls from an Antrim Road residence.
November 5th
TRESPASSING: Police took a report from a Pierce Hill Road residence regarding trespassing.
ANIMAL: Police began investigating a report of abuse/neglect of dogs.
November 7th
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Police took a report of criminal mischief which was the result of a mailbox being damaged.
ARREST: Police made an arrest on a bench warrant for Failure to Pay Fines.
CIVIL: Police mediated a dispute involving ownership of property.
November 8th
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the State Police with a motor vehicle accident in Antrim.
ARREST: After a motor vehicle stop on State Route 202 police arrested the driver for Driving While Intoxicated and Open Container of Alcohol violation.
November 9th
INVESTIGATE: Police began investigating a report of Criminal Mischief and an Assault which reportedly occurred on Birch Road.
CHECK WELFARE: Police were requested to check the welfare of a resident on North Bennington Road.
CIVIL: Police mediated a dispute over property at a North Bennington Road residence.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Bennington Rescue Department with a medical call at a State Route 202 residence.
November 10th
INVESTIGATE: Police began investigating a Conduct after Accident incident which occurred on North Bennington Road.
CIVIL: Police assistance was requested which involved a child custody dispute on Bible Hill Road.
November 11th
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: Police assisted a resident in a property check due to suspicion that someone was in or had entered the residence.
ANIMAL: Police received a report of dogs running at large on Dodge Hill Road.
November 12th
HARASSMENT: Police received reports from two motorists each accusing each other of harassment.
CIVIL: Police intervened in a landlord/tenant dispute on Francestown Road.
ANIMAL: Police received a report of dogs running at large on North Bennington Road.
ARREST: Police made an arrest charging the individual with two counts of Criminal Threatening.
November 13th
ANIMAL: Police received a report of a dog running at large on Old Coach Road.
November 14th
ANIMAL: Police found a dead dog on South Bennington Road. Because of the circumstances the investigation continues.
ARREST: Police made an arrest charging the person with Criminal Mischief for damage done to a vehicle.
November 15th
E911: Police responded to an Emergency 911 call. Investigation revealed a young child made the call because her mother was upset – not at the child but someone else.
November 16th
INVESTIGATION: Police responded to Bible Hill Road for a report of a tree on wires. The fire department was notified.
November 17th
CITIZEN ASSIST: Police assisted a resident on Mountain Road after she locked herself out of her house.
November 18th
ARREST: Police arrested an individual on three warrants – failure to appear in court, failure to pay fines and driving after suspension.
ARREST: Police took a juvenile into custody for shoplifting. He was released to his mother.
November 19th
INVESTIGATION: Police began investigating the report of two bad checks being pasted at a local convenience store.
ASSAULT: Police received a report of a male and female fighting on Antrim Road. They were gone by time police arrived.
November 20th
ARREST: Police arrested two people charging them with Issuing Bad Checks.
November 21st
CIVIL: Police mediated a landlord/tenant dispute over conditions of a residence.
CIVIL: Police medicated a dispute between an ex-wife and ex-husband.
ALARM: Police responded to an alarm at a local business. It was accidental.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Bennington Rescue with a medical call on Old Greenfield Road.
November 22nd
CIVIL: Police medicated a dispute between ex-husband and ex-wife over a property issue.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Bennington Rescue with a medical call at a local restaurant.
November 23rd
ARREST: Police arrested two individuals charging them for Theft of Services from the local ski area.
ARREST: Police arrested an individual charging him with Simple Assault.
November 25th
HARASSMENT: Police received a complaint of harassment from an Acre Street resident involving unwanted phone calls.
November 26th
ARREST: Police arrested an individual charging him with Conduct after an Accident.
November 28th
ACCIDENT: Police took a motor vehicle accident report involving a car and a deer on State Route 202.
CHECK WELFARE: Police were requested to check the welfare of a resident on North Bennington Road. She was doing fine.
November 29th
ACCIDENT: Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Antrim Road. The driver fell asleep – he received minor injuries, the vehicle was totaled.
ARREST: Police arrested a motorist charging him with an Open Container Violation.
ANIMAL: Police received a report from South Bennington Road reporting dogs constantly barking.
November 30th
ACCIDENT: Police took a report of a motor vehicle accident on Francestown Road. The motorist slid off the road due to snow/icy conditions. No injuries and minor damage to the vehicle.
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: Police responded to a local convenience store regarding suspicious activity by a juvenile.
HARASSMENT: Police received a report of telephone harassment between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend.
