ACCIDENT: Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Francestown Road.

CHECK WELFARE: Police were requested to check the welfare of a resident on Dodge Hill Road.

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Hancock Police with a motor vehicle accident on State Route 202.


March 2nd

E911: Police responded to a medical emergency on South Bennington Road.

THEFT: Police took a report of theft of skis from Crotched Mountain Ski Area.


March 3rd

THEFT: Police took a report of theft of skis from Crotched Mountain Ski Area.

MOTORIST ASSIST: Police assisted a motorist on State Route 202 after she had mechanical problems with her vehicle.

INVESTIGATION: Police received a report of wires down on South Bennington Road.

CHECK WELFARE: Police were requested to check the welfare of a Dodge Hill Road resident.

ARREST: Police arrested a juvenile for Failure to Appear in Court.


March 4th

ARREST: Police arrested Mandy Rajaniemi of Antrim on a bench warrant for Failure to Appear in Court.

ANIMAL: Police received a report of a sick looking raccoon on Francestown Road. Police did not find the animal.

ANIMAL: Police received a report of two loose horses on Durgin Road. Police found someone to claim them.

ANIMAL: Police responded to Francestown Road for cows running loose. The owner was located.

ARREST: Police arrested Joann Rajaniemi of Hillsborough on a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear in Court.


March 5th

ANIMAL: Police investigated a report of animal neglect involving a dog on State Route 202.

CIVIL STANDBY: Police were requested by DCYF to do a civil standby at the elementary school.

MOTORIST ASSIST: Police assisted a motorist on State Route 202 after she had mechanical problems with her vehicle.


March 8th

FORGERY: Police began an investigation involving forgery of checks.


March 9th

INVESTIGATE: Police received report of tree blocking South Bennington Road. Highway Department contacted to remove tree.


March 10th

ANIMAL: Police received a report from a Pine Meadows Circle resident regarding neighbors dog running at large. Summons issued due to ongoing complaint.

THEFT: Police began investigating a report of theft involving copper and brass.

MOTOR VEHICLE: Police responded to a report of a disabled vehicle on Bible Hill Road blocking traffic. It was gone by time police arrived.

ANIMAL: Police received a report from a North Bennington Road stating she lost her dog. It was later located.

ANIMAL: Police picked up a stray dog from Eaton Avenue then took it to Spring Meadows Farm.


March 11th

ARREST: Police arrested Laura Burgoyne of Antrim on a warrant for Failure to Appear in Court.

ARREST: Police arrested Tammy Comeau of Bennington on a warrant from East Kingston Police Department.

ARREST: Police arrested Heather Zabriskie of Antrim on a warrant for harassment.

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Bennington Rescue Department with a medical call on State Route 202.


March 12th

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Police Department with a road rage incident.

ARREST: Police arrested David White of Jaffrey on a number of warrants. They were: a warrant out of Keene District Court, Civil Warrant out of Cheshire Superior Court, Two warrants from East Kingston Police and a commitment order from Hillsborough District Court.


March 14th

TRESPASSING: Police took a report of criminal trespassing at the Monadnock Paper Mills. Police have an identity of the individual. Investigation continues.

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Bennington Fire Department with a fuel spill at Harris’ Mini Mart. The total spill is estimated to be between 10 and 20 gallons.

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Police with a possible burglary on Pleasant Street.

ARREST: Police arrested Karen Aucella of Bennington on two counts of Misapplication of Property.


March 15th

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Ambulance with a medical call at Crotched Mountain Ski Area.


March 16th

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Bennington Fire Department at the scene of a chimney fire on South Bennington Road.


March 17th

BURGLARY: Police began investigating a burglary at a local business.

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted a subject who was upset and did not want to go to the hospital. Every thing was taken care of without any problems.

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted Antrim Police with a Conduct After Accident investigation.


March 18th

CIVIL: Police were requested to provide information/assistance for a grandmother whose granddaughter was out-of-control.

CHECK WELFARE: Police were requested to check the welfare of a State Route 202 resident.


March 19th

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Police responded to Francestown Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident. There were no injuries and moderate damage to the vehicle.

ARREST: Police arrested Jillian George of Bennington on a warrant out of Merrimack County Court.

MOTOR ASSIST: Police assisted another motorist on State Route 202 who had mechanical problems.

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Bennington Rescue Department with a medical call on State Route 202.


March 21st

DISPUTE: Police received a report of two people involved in a dispute on Main Street. The incident was over a dog.

ARREST: Police arrested Larry Cook on a warrant from Wilton Police. The warrant was for Failure to Appear.


March 22nd

INVESTIGATE: Police received a report of a water problem on Main Street. The appropriate people were contacted to handle the incident.

ANIMAL: Police rounded up some cows on Francestown Road. The owner was contacted.

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Ambulance three times with medical calls at Crotched Mountain Ski Area.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Police took a report of criminal mischief involving damage to a vehicle.


March 23rd

MOTORIST ASSIST: Police assisted another motorist on State Route 202 who had mechanical problems.

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Bennington Fire Department with a call on Durgin Road.


March 24th

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: Police took a report of criminal trespass from a local business. The incident involved an ex-employee.

ANIMAL: Police took a report of a dog constantly barking. Police spoke to the Bible Hill Road resident.

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Ambulance on two medical calls. One on State Route 202 and one on Hancock Road.

CIVIL STANDBY: Police were requested to do a civil standby while a wife gathered some belongings from her residence.

LITTERING: Police took a report of a motorist littering. The caller reported a motorist throwing bags of trash out of a car. The incident occurred at Powdermill Pond.

HARASSMENT: Police took a report of harassment involving two women and an ex-boyfriend.

ANIMAL: Police took a report of dogs running at large. The dogs subsequently attacked two goats. One goat was injured. The owner of the dogs was issued a summons.


March 25th

TRESPASSING: Police took a report of criminal trespassing at the Monadnock Paper Mills. The subject involved was issued a no trespass letter.

DOMESTIC: Police responded to a North Bennington Road resident for a report of a domestic dispute. It was found to have been verbal.


March 26th

ANIMAL: Police received a report of a stray dog on State Route 202. It was gone by time police arrive.

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Police on a follow-up call involving a theft.

THEFT: Police took a report of a theft of a backpack. It was later located and returned.


March 27th

ARREST: Police arrested Manuel Rosa of Bennington on a warrant for Failure to Appear in Court.

CIVIL STANDBY: Police were requested to do a civil standby while an ex-husband and wife did a child exchange.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: Police received a report from an Eaton Avenue resident stating someone had pushed over his propane tank.


March 28th

ARREST: Police arrested Mike Patch of Bennington on a warrant for Failure to Pay Fines.


March 29th

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Greenfield Road. Investigation revealed a vehicle went into a ditch. It was pulled out and driven from the scene.

ANIMAL: Police received a report of goats in the roadway on State Route 47. They were rounded up and put in a pen until owner was contacted.

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Hancock Police with an arrest made during a domestic disturbance.


March 30th

HARASSMENT: Police took a report of harassment from a Cross Street resident. Police spoke to both parties.

MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Bennington Rescue Department with a medical call on South Bennington Road.


March 31st
