POLICE HANDLED THE FOLLOWING CALLS FOR SERVICE:
March 1st
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Police Department with a trespassing call for service on Goodell Road.
CRIMINAL TRESPASSING: Police investigated a trespassing complaint on Acre Street.
ARREST: Police arrested Travis Durgin of Bennington charging him with Conduct After an Accident and Negligent Driving.
March 2nd
E911: Police responded to an Emergency 911 call at the Ski Area. It was accidental.
March 3rd
DOMESTIC INCIDENT: Police responded to a Cross Street residence for a report of a domestic disturbance. It was found to be verbal.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Francestown Police with a burglary call on Francestown Road.
CIVIL: Police mediated a property dispute between ex-husband and wife on Birch Glen Drive.
March 5th
ARREST: Police arrested Aaron Barrett charging him with Breach of Bail Conditions.
ARREST: Police arrested Niles Laplant of Bennington for Simple Assault. He was released on a summons.
March 6th
ARREST: Police arrested Jason Byam of Bennington on a warrant for failure to pay child support.
March 7th
ANIMAL: Police received a report of a dog running at large on Cross Street. Police spoke to the owner.
March 8th
ARREST: Police arrested Stephan Schattgen charging him with Driving After Suspension.
March 9th
E911: Police responded to a Pierce Hill Road residence for an Emergency 911 call. It was accidental.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Hillsborough Police with a call for service involving a fight.
MUTUAL: Police assisted the Bennington Rescue Department with a medical call on Hancock Road.
MOTOR VEHICLE: Due to weather conditions police responded to a total of six reports of vehicles off the roadway.
March 10th
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Ambulance with a medical call at the Ski Area.
THEFT: Police took a report of items from an Old Greenfield Road residence.
DISPUTE: Police investigated an issue involving a neighbor plowing snow onto private property.
March 11th
ANIMAL: Police received a report of a stray dog on State Route 202. Police did not find the dog.
DISPUTE: Police received a report of a neighbor dispute on Acre Street.
March 12th
NOISE COMPLAINT: Police received a complaint about noise from the Crotched Mountain Ski Area. This is an ongoing issue; however, at this time the Town is working to come up with a solution.
ARREST: Police arrested Drew Johnson charging him with Illegal Possession of Alcohol and a bench warrant.
March 13th
ARREST: Police arrested Christopher Voorhees, 44, of Bennington on a warrant for Failure to Appear in Court.
March 14th
INVESTIGATE: Police received a report involving a resident selling a vehicle without a title. Investigation turned over to the State.
March 15th
ARREST: Police made a motor vehicle stop on State Route 202 and subsequently arrested Raymond Scott, 37, of Hancock charging him with Driving after Suspension.
March 16th
ANIMAL: Police received a report of a vicious dog on Old Greenfield Road. The owner was issued a summons.
ANIMAL: Police received a report of a dog running at large on Antrim Road. The owner was spoken to.
March 17th
ANIMAL: Police received a report of a dog running at large on school property. The owner was notified.
March 18th
ARREST: Police made a motor vehicle stop on State Route 202 and subsequently arrested Keith Conley, 36, of Hancock charging him Driving While Intoxicated.
March 19th
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Police took a report of disorderly conduct involving a dispute on Main Street. The incident was over a student standing in roadway while waiting for school bus.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Greenfield Police in looking for a patient who walked away from the Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center.
ANIMAL: Police received a report of a stray dog on Knightland Road. Police were unable to locate the dog.
March 20th
JUVENILE: Police responded to Pierce Elementary School for an out of control student. Police spoke to the juvenile who calmed down. After he calmed down he went back to class and the police cleared without further action being necessary.
ANIMAL: Police took two dog complaints from Main Street residents.
March 21st
ARREST: Police stopped a motor vehicle on State Route 202. Subsequently police arrested Chelsie Brehm, 18, of Westmoreland charging her with Illegal Transportation of Alcohol and Illegal Transportation of Drugs. A passenger, Wilfred Belluscio, 21, of Westomoreland, was taken into protective custody.
ARREST: After making a motor vehicle stop police arrested Brad Wilkins, 21, of Keene charging him with Illegal Possession of Controlled Drug.
PROTECTIVE CUSTODY/ARREST: Police took Joseph Devincentis, 61, of Bennington into Protective Custody for intoxication. He was subsequently charged with a violation of restraining order. He was transported to Valley Street Jail for the intoxication. On May 22 nd the violation charged was dropped due to the restraining order conditions being changed by the Milford District Court.
March 22nd
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Ambulance with a medical call at the Ski Area.
ANIMAL: Police received a report of a dog running at large on Cross Street. The owner was issued a summons.
March 23rd
ARREST: Police arrested Adam Lovering, 18, of Antrim charging him with Contempt of Court (failing to pay restitution). He was released on a summons pending a June 11 th court date in Henniker District Court.
ARREST: Police responded to a South Bennington Road resident for a report of a domestic disturbance involving a weapon. Subsequently police arrested Thomas Belcher, 21, of Bennington charging him with Criminal Threatening and Reckless Conduct with a weapon. He was transported to Valley Street Jail on $2000 cash bail pending a court date of March 23 rd. The court arraignment resulted in him being held in Valley Street Jail on $5000 cash bail. Police assistance was provided by the Hillsborough Police.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Bennington Rescue Department with a medical call on North Bennington Road.
JUVENILE: Police took a report of a juvenile harassing another on the school bus.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Police with a search warrant on Park Place.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Police with a domestic incident on Field Road.
March 25th
CIVIL: Police responded to a State Route 202 residence for a report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed it was a dispute over property. One person was advised to leave the property and to take the issue to court.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Police on West Street with a call for service involving an out of control juvenile.
March 26th
E911: Police received an Emergency 911 call from a local business. Investigation revealed it was accidental.
ARREST: Police arrested James Devries, 37, of Bennington on a warrant from the Adult Parole Board for Failure to Notify Parole Officer of Change of Address. He was formerly from Manchester. He was transported to Hillsborough County of House of Corrections without bail pending a hearing.
THEFT: Police took a report from a State Route 202 resident involving theft of property from his vehicle.
March 27th
TRESPASSING: Police took a trespassing report from a local business. Police have an identity of the trespasser; however, at this point the investigation continues.
THEFT: Police took a theft report from a Pierce Hill Road resident. The theft involved tools. Investigation continues.
March 28th
PROTECTIVE CUSTODY: Police took two individuals into protective custody for public intoxication. They were given a ride home.
MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Police took an accident report after a vehicle rolled backwards into another vehicle. No one was injured; however, one vehicle sustained serious damage.
THEFT: Police took a report of theft involving a cell phone.
March 29th
INVESTIGATE: Police received a report of shots fired on North Bennington Road. Police did not find the source of the shooting.
ANIMAL: Police received a report of dogs running at large on Francestown Road. The owner was notified.
March 30th
ALARM: Police responded to an alarm at a local business. It was accidental.
ILLEGAL DUMPING: Police received a report of illegal dumping involving furniture. Someone dumped a truck load of items on Balch Farm Road.
March 31st
ARREST: Police arrested Jason Byam of Antrim charging him with Driving after Suspension. He was released on a summons pending court.
ANIMAL: Police received a report of a dog running at large on Knightland Road. Police spoke to the owner.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted Francestown Police in transported an arrested person to Goffstown.
