June 1st
THEFT: Police took a report of a vehicle theft which occurred on State Route 202.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Bennington Rescue Department with a medical call on Paradise Drive.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Police with a motor vehicle accident on State Route 202.
June 2nd
ARREST: Police arrested Christopher Voorhees of Bennington for Failure to Appear in Court. He was released on cash bail.
PROTECTIVE CUSTODY: Police took a bicyclist into protective custody for being intoxicated in public and having difficulty riding his bicycle.
June 3rd
PROTECTIVE CUSTODY: Police took a juvenile into protective custody for being out of control and for being assaultive. He was transported to the hospital.
HARASSMENT: Police received a report of harassment involving unwanted contact and phone calls. The situation was handled without further action being necessary at this time.
June 5th
TOWN ORDINANCE: Police issued a number of summons to a dog owner for not controlling his dog. He was charged via Town Ordinances.
June 6th
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Deering Police in looking for an individual who fled from Deering Police.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Deering Police with a motor vehicle accident on Zoski Road.
June 7th
DRIVE OFF: Police received a report of a motorist driving off without paying for gas. He was located. It was determined to have been accidental. He returned and paid for the gas.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Police received a report of criminal mischief due to damage done to a vehicle on South Bennington Road.
June 8th
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Police received a report of criminal mischief due to damage to a garage located on Durgin Road.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION: Police responded to Francestown Road for a report of an intoxicated subject. Subject was not located.
June 9th
ARREST: Police arrested Maia Drucker, 27, of Milford charging her with Driving after Suspension. She was released on $1000 personal recognizance bail pending a July 14th court date in Hillsborough District Court.
June 10th
JUVENILE: Police received a report of a missing juvenile. After investigation/searching the juvenile was found in Antrim. He was released to the custody of his parent.
ANIMAL: Police picked up two stray dogs and returned them to their owner on Rogers Road.
June 11th
ANIMAL: Police received a report of a stray horse on Bible Hill Road. It was returned to its owner.
INVESTIGATION: Police received a report of loud noise at the beach. The report indicated the juveniles were disrupting other beach goers and using foul language. The situation was under control – after police spoke to them.
June 12th
HARASSMENT: Police received a report of harassment involving a person who being confronted by a neighbor. The incident revolves around constant reporting of blowing of a car horn.
JUVENILE: Police received a report of juveniles fighting on Main Street. Investigation revealed the juveniles were playing; however, they decided to go their own separate ways.
June 13th
ARREST: Police arrested Susan Brissette, 40, of Norwich New York charging her with Simple Assault and Criminal Mischief. She was released on $1000 personal recognizance bail pending a July 14th court date in Hillsborough District Court.
ARREST: After making a motor vehicle stop police arrested Catherine Chamberlain, 54, of Hillsborough charging her with Driving on a Suspended Registration and Operating after Suspension. She was released on $1000 personal recognizance bail pending a July 14th court date in Hillsborough District Court.
E911: Police received a report of an Emergency 911 call coming from a pay phone on State Route 202. Investigation revealed that juveniles were playing with the phone. Investigation continues on deciding what course of action to take.
E911: Police received a report of an Emergency 911 call coming from an Onset Road residence. It was a medical call resulting in a patient being transported to the hospital.
June 14th
ARREST: Police took Tyler Duvernay, 24, of Deering into Protective Custody for intoxication. He was also being held pending an investigation for an incident which occurred in Deering. He was turned over to the custody of the Deering Police.
ARRESTS: Police charged three individuals with an open container violation. The charge was filed as a Town Ordinance Violation. The three individuals charged were: Adam Fuller, 21 of Hillsborough, Fallyne Falkins, 22, of Greenfield and Jessica LaFreniere, 21, of Antrim. Each were released on a summons.
DOMESTIC: Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on South Bennington Road. It was determined to have been verbal.
June 15th
ARREST: Police arrested Jasen Smart, 39, of Hillsborough charging him with Simple Assault, Criminal Mischief, Theft and Driving While Intoxicated. He was released on $500 personal recognizance bail pending a July 14th court date in Hillsborough District Court.
ARRESTS: Police charged three juveniles with Illegal Possession of Alcohol (open container). Each were charged on a town ordinance and released on a summons.
ARREST: Police took Douglas Boudreau, 36, of Greenfield into Protective Custody for public intoxication. He was transported to his residence and released without further action being necessary.
ANIMAL: Police picked up a stray dog on State Route 202 and took it to Spring Meadows Farm.
MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Police responded to Greenfield Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Investigation revealed that the paper delivery man fell asleep and drove his vehicle off the roadway.
June 17th
E911: Police responded to a local business for an E911 call. It was determined to have been accidental.
June 18th
ANIMAL: Police began investigating a report of a dog bite which occurred on Pine Meadows Circle. Investigation continues.
ANIMAL: Police received a report of a sick looking fox on Bible Hill Road. The fox was not located.
CRIMINAL THREATENING: Police received a report from a State Route 202 resident stating he has been threatening. Investigation continues.
June 20th
ARRESTS: After making a motor vehicle stop police charged two juveniles with Illegal Possession of Alcohol and also took two juveniles into Protective Custody. The two juveniles charged with Illegal Possession of Alcohol were released on a summons pending an August 11th court date in Henniker District Court, Hillsborough Session.
ARRESTS: After making a motor vehicle stop on North Bennington Road police arrested Jennifer Ranta, 36, of Antrim on two warrants from Deering. The warrants were for Reckless Operation and Child Endangerment. She was turned over to the custody of the Deering Police.
CIVIL: Police received a complaint from a South Bennington Road resident. The issue between her and a juvenile was determined to be a civil issue.
INVESTIGATION: Police received a noise complaint which was occurring at the Powdermill Pond area. Police were not able to locate the individuals.
June 21st
ARREST: After making a motor vehicle stop police charged Sean Lachance, 18, of Antrim with Illegal Possession of Alcohol. He was released on a summons pending an August 11th court date at Henniker District Court, Hillsborough Session.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Police with an unwanted person call on Main Street.
June 23rd
JUVENILE: Police received a report of two juveniles jumping off a bridge into the river. Because of the hazard they were instructed to stop which they did without incident.
June 24th
ARREST: Police arrested James Spack, 45, of Abbot, ME charging him with two counts of Violation of Protection Order and Breach of Bail. He was held overnight in Hillsborough County House of Corrections. On June 25th he was arraigned in Henniker District Court where he was released on $15,000 personal recognizance bail pending a September 9 th court date.
MOTOR VEHICLE: Police received a report from a passing motorist stating a vehicle just ran them off the road in Antrim. The vehicle was located in Hancock. Antrim Police were notified. After Hancock Police stopped the vehicle Antrim police responded to investigate. Bennington Police then cleared the scene.
HARASSMENT: Police received a report from a Paradise Road resident stating she was being harassed by her niece. All parties were spoken to. At this time no further action is necessary.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Bennington Fire Department at the scene of a vehicle fire on Pierce Hill Road.
June 25th
DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: Police responded to the Birch Glen Drive condos for a report of a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed it was verbal. One party departed for the evening. No further action was necessary.
MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Police responded to Francestown Road and Dodge Hill Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle and a bicyclist. Investigation revealed a juvenile was riding his bicycle and entered the intersection without stopping causing him to hit the vehicle. He sustained minor injuries.
HARASSMENT: Police received a report from a Bible Hill Road resident stating she was being harassed by her ex-husbands girlfriend.
June 26th
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: Police received a report from a juvenile stating that someone pulled up beside her and attempted to open her car door. After the vehicle was located and the report investigated it was determined to have been a mistake. It happens that the individual was meeting someone in the parking lot and the person being met had the same type of vehicle.
CIVIL STANDBY: Police did a civil standby on Birch Glen Drive while someone gathered some personal belongings from his residence.
E911: Police received a report of an Emergency 911 call from a local business. It was accidental.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Bennington Rescue Department with a medical call on Hancock Road.
June 27th
ARREST: Police arrested Tamara Carrier, 37, of Hollis charging her with harassment. She was released on a summons pending an August 11th court date in Hillsborough District Court.
ARREST: Police charged a juvenile with underage possession of alcohol and released him on a summons. Another individual was taken into Protective Custody.
June 28th
DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: Police responded to a domestic incident at a State Route 202 residence. It was determined to have been verbal. A temporary protective order was issued; however, no further issues were reported to the police.
MUTUAL AID: Police assisted the Antrim Police with a motor vehicle stop on State Route 202.
ANIMAL: Police received a report of an injured raccoon on North Bennington Road. The animal was not located.
June 30th
CRIMINAL THREATENING: Police received a report involving a juvenile threatening another juvenile. Investigation continues.
E911: Police received a report of an Emergency 911 call at a local business. No source of the call could be located.
CIVIL: Police received a request to do a standby while an individual retrieved personal belongings from his residence.
CIVIL: Police received a complaint regarding a roommate keeping and/or selling property. It was determined to be a civil issue.
